About Me

Jake Peer

My name is Jake Peer and it has been my lifelong passion to be a forester. When I was 12 years old, I earned the Forestry Merit Badge at Boy Scout Summer Camp. Part of the curriculum for that Merit Badge was job shadowing a Professional Forester. I job shadowed with one of our State Service Foresters here in Ohio and immediately knew that I wanted to be a forester. That decision led me on a long journey that ultimately led me to owning my own business.

Prior to owning my own business, I have gained experience working in local and state government, as well as in the private sector.
